@@quasarmediaa nah, you wanna start with structure. Korn is full of great riffs but their structure comes from JD. they fully explain it as they were trying to come up with cool sounds like Mr.Bungle

5:45 finally!! yes that's the way to go I've been only to one Korn show in my life couple of years ago, and I left disappointed on how they butchered their old songs. So happy they can realize this now, and respect their own previous work as it was. If they keep this approach, I would be much more excited to see them again if I have the chance.

Watched them on Monsters of Metal in São Paulo and it was, as always, freaking awesome. It's great to see Head back in the band! Their only mistake was choosing Somebody Someone for the medley with Shoots and Ladders. They took the beginning of Somebody Someone from us and that sucks.

Im hardcore back into korn since head is back! I need to see them on this tour. I almost died last year when a car hit me going 50 mph (i was crossing the street) . Now i take meds everyday,and walk with a limp. But i need to see korn. I never got to b4 bcs when they broke up i was 15, now im 23. I want to cry bcs im so happy head is back, and even better they sound better than ever!

My first concert was their issues tour my sister took me to. Albuquerque New Mexico .. papa roach and power man 5k ... they opened with falling away from me .. the screams alone when Brian was over extending the opening riff was deafening to my 12 year old virgin ears.. I could feel Fieldys rattling bass shaking my body .. but it was definitely one for the books!!!

It was because John was getting off a medication that was supposed to be helping him, but it wound up being a bad thing, so while they were taking care of the music for John, John was basically getting over withdrawals, I think the medication was for anxiety, I think. After the band had taken care of the music, John came in and wrote the lyrics over the music which he normally does anyways, but he did have more direct control over songs like Spike in my Veins.

I took a bass lesson and I told my teacher I want that Korn sound. He picked up the bass, plugged it in and threw it down the stairs... The sound it made was identical to fieldys sound.

i dont care what people say....heads first solo album "save me from myself" was amazing.....all religion aside...the album just rocks...IMO it sounded better than the KORN album....i aint a religious person, Korn just seemed to produce garbage in that time..

i wouldnt say broke....id say either some part of him wanted to be in that band again, he was trying to rejoin for years, maybe in hindsight he thought the decision to leave was a bad business decision, though solo his credibility was there. Maybe Korn were at a writing block and thought after hearing heads solo album and his new bands stuff..."lets get him back to write some tunes"

Head's first solo album is great indeed! All of the musicians of Korn continue to make great music! When my cousin first showed me Freak on a Leash over a car speaker system I had never heard sound like that, and I was very intrigued and intimidated in a good way by the power of their sound. this video was great!
