“The Nothing is spreading," groaned the first. "It's growing and growing, there's more of it every day, if it's possible to speak of more nothing. All the others fled from Howling Forest in time, but we didn't want to leave our home. The Nothing caught us in our sleep and this is what it did to us." "Is it very painful?" Atreyu asked. "No," said the second bark troll, the one with the hole in his chest. "You don't feel a thing. There's just something missing. And once it gets hold of you, something more is missing every day. Soon there won't be anything left of us.” ― Michael Ende, The Neverending Story This always frightened me the most. The Nothing. When it gets to you. Talks to you. Makes you feel lost and alone. And it‘s so hard to get out of it. But i force myself every day. I need to. And this album helps me...

The Nothing made me a Korn fan again. I hadn't paid much attention since after Issues and then this album came out and its something they goes beyond anything they've ever done, in my opinion. Much respect to Jon and the boys for pulling this off out of such tragic times.

The Nothing has already become one of my favorite KoRn albums because of the lyrical content. This album came to me when I absolutely needed it the most... I lost my Mom two years ago and have been having a hell of a time coping with that... Jon's lyrics on this album REALLY hit me on a deep level. With his feelings of loss, I connected to that immediately. I fully believe Jon gave his all on this record.. there is no doubt about it. Anyone that has suffered a great loss in their life would understand. All I can say is that this album will forever be a favorite of mine. To the guys in KoRn... thank you for this album. I needed this! The Nothing has been very therapeutic for me.

Good Job Munky - the man hanging, suspended by the things that keep him held back - the things that keep him, FROM FLYING OFF, to soar- wherever his sights have taken fancy to land. In that case, I am learning that sometimes, though. those little wires are indeed life lines, that keep you from splatting on the concrete below you, because I tried jumping without looking. The wires are our subconscious, and we need to sever the wires that HOLD us back, and hang on tight to that Lifeline's that keep us safe & living.

koRn has been around for 25 years +/- a few months now. I believe "THE NOTHING" shows their growth over all that tyme individually and collectively thru the band and in each of their solo projects. For such a horrible period of tyme for JD to continue to "march onward" thru it all in the last couple of years is commendable beyond expression. This video short shows that pain that is expressed by an artist and his canvas is his music. Please take a moment to listen... 🤘😢🤘
