@freakunleashed8152 5 жыл бұрын
@@arnottsbiscuits9596 The best thing about the internet is everybody has a voice. The worst thing about the internet is everyone has a voice. Suicide is a tricky topic. When Chester took his life I thought he was a coward for abandoning his kids. He's gone forever. We must not intentionally or unintentionally bully someone who is having those thoughts. We can talk about it to help change the thought patterns of a broken mind. We can use different methods i.e. blunt truth or long thought out therapy sessions. The goal is to change the thought patterns and allow people to have their own revelations. Life is a beautiful thing but we have people in this world that bully and take advantage of others just because they can. Life's all about choices. We can choose to use our voice to help encourage others to live a better life or we can use our voice to denigrate and belittle people.

Unfortunately, I can relate to the pain of losing a spouse. You're not alone, and I send my deepest sympathy, love and prayers to you. Remember, the best thing that we can do to honor the loved ones we have lost is to live our lives to the fullest, and remember all of the good times that we shared with them. I completely understand what JD is talking about. I've suffered with depression for over 20 years now, and for most of that time I was mostly okay. After losing both grandmothers in a span of about 3 years (the most recent being 2018), whatever was left in me just disappeared. Now I'm done with life, I genuinely don't give a shit what happens to me at this point, but when I put on some Korn it's one of only a few things that can bring me any sense of joy. I try to sing along, channeling my feelings through the lyrics, and for those moments things seem okay. When listening to some of the songs on The Nothing, especially Surrender To Failure, I think of my grandmothers. The line "and the demons were set loose to claim their prize, I am their prize" reminds me of how I was able to tolerate things before losing them, but after losing them I failed and gave up. I doubt anyone from the band will ever see this, but thank you Korn. Your music helps fill that void within me, and so I listen pretty much every single day.

This one hit me hard... Jon's final words on this video: "It's something very traumatizing, You're not the same after that." Talking about losing his Mom and wife... That is so fucking true! I lost my Mom and I haven't been the same... You don't know what it's like until you've gone through it. It's devastating... :(

I know! Been a fan since I was 13... I'm 35 now, and I can't wait to see them for the first time January 31st!!! I feel for Jonathan so much after losing my wife in 2017. After this album dropped, I knew I HAD to go see them. My younger brother isn't into Korn at all, but he knew how much it meant to me, so he's going on a 3 hour trip with me to go see them. Love you bro!

I’ve had death as a companion since I was 12yrs old…..I’ve lost everyone in my family, dealt with it in soo many different ways…alcohol etc….There is no right way to grieve jus the way that gets you through the darkness and moving forward. Love the new album ❤️❤️

Love this band and it says alot about their character especially Johnathan as he chose to pour his pain into the art instead of self destructing. They know that many have gone through heartache and I like what he says at the end of this about everyone relating to what he is saying in the songs. 🤘🤘🤘
