I had a mental breakdown 3 weeks ago. This song was playing in my headphones. It’s made me realise I needed help. Since then I’ve started a mental care plan and I’m now feeling better than I ever have before. I thank you Korn for your magic music and the love and care for your fans. Respect

It's funny how far they can actually reach with what they do. Issues and Untouchables pulled me out of my dark place when I was a teenager, and now it still has that power. They've still got what they originally set out to do.

@@nikosarallo2chickenarmy253 yeah same here, I was 11 when Issues came out and the video "Falling Away From Me" was the story of my life at the time, at home anyway. School wasn't much better. I was born with a mild facial deformity that I couldn't have surgically fixed until I was 17 and the kids in elementary school were so vicious that I'm not sure which was worse, the mental pain from being bullied or the physical pain from being kicked, having me head slammed into walls, and being tossed around the house like a ragdoll be my father. I used to have to listen to korn just to fall asleep for the comfort I found in their music. I was that girl in the video, clutching my portable cd player like it was a music box that held most precious thing in the world to me; the comfort I found in their music really pulled me through those dark times. When I was listening to Korn, it's like I wasn't alone anymore in my experience.

I've been listening to Korn ever since they came out. And as a musician, I think this one of their best work. It just really brings a truly different but much clearer of a voice to something completely different from what they normally do imo. It just has a different shine from what they r known for.
@Doom0690
@Doom0690 5 жыл бұрын
@@Jammin101 I lost the mother of my son six years ago this November. That's probably the main reason why I relate so much with what Jon was is going through and the lyrics on this album are just simply incredible. I seen an interview with Munk and Head a few months back and they said they all decided to let this be Jonathan's album and their gift to him. So I agree 100% that this definitely their greatest album. The lyrics, the music, the emotions ...it all worked together in the end.

Davis, I don't know how he gets the exact words to keep transmitting something so intense. For 6 years I have been doing therapy for depression, anxiety, alcoholism and dysfunctional family. I never had a why in life, I never saw the worth of investing in something or someone, just being in airplane mode and avoiding decisions. Today, I can understand something, it is a long, very long process, sometimes patience is lost, it is a hole that consumes you, it is not easy to pass it, there are always marks.

I'd love it if they released a Deluxe Edition of "The Nothing" This would be a great bonus track, put "So Unfair" on there and have some more extra songs and we'd be onto a winner 😁 Putting out a Deluxe Edition of The Nothing could get it spoken about for longer and maybe draw in some new fans of the album (Since they didn't tour many places for it last year its been somewhat forgotten I've noticed, especially here in the UK, I still think they should've done a tour to coincide with the album)

@@jadejaguarcuontheotherside7551 There were dates but the UK didn't have anything other than Download Festival, a date where they weren't even going to be the headliner (Sadly) As much as I love Korn I have to be honest when I say it sucks that they don't tour the UK often, the album came out last September and I feel like there should've been a tour for it from around the time it came out last year, especially since it was a release that did so well and won back fans that weren't so sure on other more recent releases
