People are more creative when drunk / high / wasted / whatever. So I don't think that's really a weird thing that they made it work Most bands best albums were made high. And then the band sober up it all goes down hill. It is what it is

I'm 35 and I still listen to the first 3 KoRn albums sometimes but I agree, Follow the Leader really is something special. I was a mega fan as a kid, I even ran 2 sites lol.

It’s great that they’re ‘Letting Go’ and releasing all the “pain” they’ve gone through and are accepting it all to post it. I grew up listening to them. I gym regularly and never lived their lifestyle - but, as a kid their music helped me through TONS of pain and loneliness. So thank you KoRn.

Issues was good too the year after, but they were more focused with that, than FTL i.e. not drinking/partying as much and JD had sobered up.

After watching how drunk Korn was in Who Then Now, which was fully backed up by the Duece DVD, my first two metal bands were always drunk thanks to Korn! We literally drank to desteuction to be just like Korn and it was amazing. The shame was that we were rubbish to go with being the second drunkest band on Earth, right behind Korn. ha ha.

Ya, they were fans of those Adam Sandler movies from the late 90s early 2000 when Sandler was still funny. One of their tour picks has the Waterboy movie cover but instead of Sandler as the waterboy its one of the band members (looks like head or JD can't tell though because picture sucks).

Munky said they spent $27,000 on alcohol when they were making that album. I heard it was more like $60,000. Jonathan Davis said in the interview for the Family Values DVD that he was drinking a 2-liter bottle of Jack Daniel’s a day back then. Fieldy said on that DVD that Jonathan would drink 30 Jack & Cokes in 10 minutes. If that’s true he’s lucky he didn’t die from alcohol poisoning.
