I remember how happy Jon was with Deven (sorry if I spelled incorrectly). When I heard the news last year, I was horrified and sad for him. I mean, poor Jon was a victim of child molestation and abuse, bullying in school, and now the last thing he deserved was to become a widower. 😢😢 Stay strong, Jon.

I lost my wife to depression and tried so hard to help her. In the end you feel you didn’t do enough to help and blame yourself. This song was the hardest thing I’ve ever listened to. Munky has stated “The Fragile” is one of his favorite albums! NIN is one of Korn’s biggest influences up there with Rage Against the Machine, Pantera, Primus, Faith No More, Godflesh, Mr. Bungle, Biohazard, Sepultura, Cypress Hill, Alice In Chains, The Cure, and Bauhaus. “Helmet In The Bush” from Korn’s first album has a lot of NIN and Godflesh influence with that industrial metal sound. Sounds like it could’ve been on NIN’s Broken EP or maybe even Pretty Hate Machine.

Drug addiction is no joke. Its scary how vulnerable humans can be and how they will allowed themselves to be led down that path, which usually ends up one way. I would never blame anyone overdosing but getting involved with that shite in the 1st place should be avoided at all costs because its very stupid. I remember just trying to quit smoking and it felt like hell on earth. But I have no doubt that was heaven in comparison to heroin or coke. Painkillers are taking their toll on plenty of folk out there too and they are something that are sometimes vital to people who get surgury etc but try getting off those? Like the flick of a switch you dont own your own will anymore and somethign else takes over......its scary. Prayers to all of them and to those trying to get them back! They need all the help and love they can get.

Jonathan just needs to remember that he made his wife happy until the end of her days, and he has to do the same for his children. As long as he can make his kids happy, he shall always succeed. I loved KoRn from the very start and I will love them to the day I die. I am truly sorry to hear what had happened and this album speaks a million words and I hope they do what makes them truly happy.

goddamn this album is good. it's like it's got something from many of their older albums. i heard issues. i heard see you on the other side. i heard untitled. i heard the path of totality. and i even heard the black labyrinth. full of weird shit, but it fits. and so full of feelings. awesome.

Oh JD... 😢 im so sorry.. my dad hanged himself 13 yrs ago. Unfortunately we cant always save the ones we love. We can, however, be the best parents we can in order to break the cycle. Syay vigilante of our own mental health and our childrens. I dont believe in god or heaven but energy cant be made nor destroyed, only transformed and thus our energy or "soul" or w/e you want to call it, musy go somewhere. Its transformed in to something. Maybe its grass if we are Properly buried instead of being embalmed in a concrete shell, that it. & maybe that grass feeds an animal and our energy is then transformed again and again and again. All i know is our energy goes somewhere into something and we never truly cease to exist. Your wife gave you gorgeous children and loved all of you with every fiber of her soul, unfortunately mental illness isnt rational and it sometimes makes us do irrational things. Ppl say suicide is selfish but whats more selfish, making someone stay alive even though they're in excruciating pain every secons of their life JUST to make your own life better? Or someone ending their pain and misery? Not that I am promoting suicide! Suicide isnt the answer, but if you've lost someone to suicide thinking of it that way might help the pent up anger, rage, pain, sorrow and hurt thats inside of you. In the mind of someone suicidal they believe they re doing something good for the ones they love. They become convinced everyone is better off without them, that theyre a burden thats dragging everyone down... so if youre suicidal and you read this, pls know thats not true and those of us whove lost someone to suicide would endure almost anything to have them back. Im 32 & still need my dad everyday but he killed himself when i was 18 which has completely wrecked my entire existence so no matter how bad it gets, just remember the ppl who love you will be irrevocably changed forever.

I feel terrible for what Jonathan had to go through losing his wife and his mom around the same time, I hope he is still holding up, this album is great but also a tear jerker because you can hear the pain in his voice trying to make this.

To Johnathan , I too have lost my wife it will be 4 years now at the age of 38 now. I will say a prayer for you. Although our loss came in a different way I plead you to look to the Lord Jesus Christ for direction as did your friend Brian. Your song has touched me in a deep way. May God bless you. PS you are not alone in this, even though you feel like it... you’re not, and you DID NOT FAIL,! Gods ways are merciful and impeccable!
