David was amazing

David was literally the foundation of Korn. His drum style was so unique

David Silveria was the highest talent in KORN, he made of all of those guys to work really hard, he had some innovative ideas, he was the push for making new things in korn.

Mike Bordin was a GREAT replacement choice for David. FNM was a major influence on Korn. One of the best lefty drummers out there!

I saw Korn in 2000 or late 99 when Puff was filling in for David- I wish I could have seen the full original lineup, but Mike nailed it

I was at the show when this happened. It was crazy as no one knew what was going on at first. They did end up coming back and making it up to all the fans. Can’t remember how it worked but the makeup show was free if you had you ticket stub or something from the first show.

I was at that show. Was up on stage and can see me in the shadows at 44 seconds. Was awesome to be up there but bummed it was cut short. Totally understandable though.

Per me David ha caratterizzato il suono dei Korn ed è stato fondamentale per la nascita di un nuovo stile, come ognuno dei membri nelle loro parti. Ray mi piace molto come batterista ho visto o concerti dei korn sia con david sia con Ray sia con maike e mi sono piaciuti tantissimo tutti. Una piccola annotazione tecnica da batterista: se david ai quei livelli non è in grado di usare la moller tecnica è normale che prima o poi si sarebbe fatto male ai polsi ed ai tendini perché un batterista di quel livello che fa tour mondiali è inconcepibile che non sappia usare quel tipo di tecnica che tutela i tuoi polsi. Ray picchia molto più forte fi lui ha 50 anni ed ha sviluppato una tecnica che non lo danneggia m onestamente ho visto immagini recenti di Dave e non sarebbe in grado fisicamente di suonare. Comunque è stato un grande batterista

This is the KoRn, I fell for ❤. It reminds me of Slipknot, when late Paul Gray and Joey Jordison, were j that band. David, not being in the group anymore, made me sad. But, the shows go on.

So pretty much after his arm injury, his drumming was never how it used to be, then after his back injury it got even worse.

Sounds like possible tendonitis. A month off and sleeping with stretching apparatus on his wrist may have fixed it.

Ray is an amazing drummer but imo he’s just too fast for them. He’s more like a speed train. David was just a perfect fit for the band. He was that hard hitting power house drummer korn needed.
