This really shows how much Joey Jordison cared about music. He never missed a beat, whatever band he was in. We love you Joey, we will miss you. RIP

He was always ahead of the beat to. At RockAm or whatever show he basically made Korn; Kornknot for the tour🤣 R.I.P. to my fav drummer ever Joey. Cheers

We would all be blessed to spend our whole lives and making a living doing what we love...I'm not really a big Slipknot fan,I'm a drummer and will listen to any genre of music with great drumming..I was so enamored with Joey...just a animal on the kit..Now watching alot of these videos after he passed just makes me realize how caring he was...RIP

Slipknot was Joey (& the rest of the 9 but not really the point, his contribution to Slipknot was ALL Joey, ALL #1), you're saying you don't like Joey when you say that. you love Nathan, it's fine to not like it, it's just joey put so much of who/what he was & what was inside of him into Slipknot. As much as Slipknot meant to him & what he put into it not liking it is almost like not liking him imo.

It would've been cool if Joey was in KoRn, But I'm glad Ray is now in the band! :)

I do not think he would have been a good fit in the long run. He fit the heavy parts good but in many songs he rushed the tempo way too much so some of it lost the heaviness because of that. Would have been cool to hear one faster album written with him!

Ray has now come into his own with Korn to now compliment their style and now plays with the power and passion that Silvera had I think Korn is now in safe waters going forward with Ray

It's pretty cool that Joey is playing drums for KoRn. That demonstrates his capacity to easily adapt to different styles of music and that speaks volumes about his playing. Thank God the rumors became true!

Personally, I think the tempo on this version of Blind is a bit to fast, its either that Korn like to play it like this now? Or it's just that Joey is used to playing at such a fast tempo I don't really know. LOVE LOVE LOVE this song though

@@somerandomarmydude yep, thats another thing with david. Not just his rythm and groove, I love how he smashes those drums with power, not just for the sake of the power, it adds to the sound too. This just sounds "thin" compared to how david plays. I love both of them, but I'm just talking abot style, and for korn there's no better drummer than david.

That was...surprisingly deep and insightful. Thanks for the comment. I feel the same way too much of the time. Music isn't an art as much as it is a product, a brand so to speak. I really wish that we had real rock bands now and people who truly care for the music that they make.

I agree about Korn, but really- Slipknot has been one of the most influential metal bands thus far, whether you like them or not. They might not make HISTORY, per say, but they are very important in the music scene and will be for a long time.

actually no its not i have seen all 9 members say after corey and james get done with this tour they will tour with stone sour and then they are going back to iowa and doing another album with slipknot they already have songs for it cause they left some off the all hope is gone album. they are nowhere close to being done you can watch some of the videos on youtube look them up just type in slipknot interviews

Music used to be something approached with true respect and reverence. It first served as communion with nature, the gods, important periods in a person or communities existence. Musicians, just like arts, were given roles that were respected. I know that many individuals still feel that way, but society as a whole has shifted its perspective. Instead of using it for immaterial purposes, music is a billion dollar a year industry.. We can see the tree for the fruit it bears.

cool deaddream69 i respect urs, i mainly classify what i listen to like this: If it sounds good i listen to it if it doesn't i don't, i hate when ppl label bands in genres, i like genres to get an idea of wht a band sounds like before i hear them but i wont judge them by bands that share the same "genre"
