Lyrics:
The hurt inside is fading (aah-aah-aah)
This shit's gone way too far
All this time, I've been waiting
Oh, I cannot grieve anymore
For what's inside awaking (aah-aah-aah)
I'm not, I'm not a whore
You've taken everything and (aah-aah-aah)
Oh, I cannot give any more

Which is why you have bands like weezer for instance who found a middle ground while still sounding the same as they always have but still incorporate new elements into their music. Korn is different though they sold out for a while when they hooked up with skrillex they lost track of who they were and where they came from but the last two albums they came out with they've kind of gone back to their roots

Korn was my introduction to Metal/Numetal/hiphop, theyre going down in history for sure! This track hits harder then it did in my teenage angst years. I think so because I can relate to them a whole lot more now that im older and actually pay attention to the poetic lyrics Jonathan Davis delivers. Im so glad they stood the test of time! goes to show, when you put your heart into your music, it connects with evreyones subconcious. we are all connected and music is the source that brings us all together.

This was like my 1st Korn song, I remember back at school when a friend of mine gave me the tape to listen to it. When i played it on my walkman as the song started there was only this "Buzz-like" sound and i couldn't make out what was going on. I thought the head of the walkman was dirty so i took out the tape and cleaned it and put back the tape, rewind and play again. It was still the same sound that heavy Buzz sound, but then in few secs kicked in that blasting drums and bass guitar slap..I was like..Damn!!!Scared my ass off for a moment..Indeed it was night.. This track has been my favorite ever since then. That dark groove! Phew!!

Hello all... Just came here to say how FUCKING AMAZING Korn is.... I am usually a very mellow guy, and listen mostly to jazz and reggae, and VERY LITTLE rock.. Usually hate metal... But Korn is on a whole other level... these dudes have transcended whatever shit is usually called rock or metal... Korn are gods. Fuck yes eargasms!!!!

This time, taking it away I've got a problem With me getting in the way Not by design So I take my face And bash it into a mirror I won't have to see the pain Bleed, bleed! This state is elevating As the hurt turns into hating Anticipating All the fucked up feelings again The hurt inside is fading This shit's gone way too far All this time I've been waiting No, I cannot grieve anymore For once inside awaking I'm done, I'm not a whore You've taken everything and Oh, I cannot give any more My mind's done with this Okay, I've got a question Can I throw it all away? Take back what's mine So I take my time Guiding the blade down the line Each cut closer to the vein Vein, vein This state is elevating As the hurt turns into hating Anticipating All the fucked up feelings again The hurt inside is fading This shit's gone way too far All this time I've been waiting No, I cannot grieve anymore For once inside awaking I'm done, I'm not a whore You've taken everything and Oh, I cannot give any more I'm here to stay Bring it down! I'm here to stay Bring it down! I'm here to stay Bring it down! I'm here to stay Bring it down! Bring it down! Bring it down! Bring it down! Gonna break it down! Gonna break it down! Gonna break it down! Gonna break it down! Gonna break it down! Gonna break it down! Gonna break it down! Gonna break it! This state is elevating As the hurt turns into hating Anticipating All the fucked up feelings again The hurt inside is fading This shit's gone way too far All this time I've been waiting No, I cannot grieve anymore For once inside awaking I'm done, I'm not a whore You've taken everything and Oh, I cannot give any more

This was THE song that got me hooked on Korn. I heard it on the radio, and had no idea who it was, except that this song kicked so much ass. Shortly after, I went from owning none of their albums, to every one of them! 😀

Saw them in their first tour of the UK back in the 90s, must be nearly 30s ago now. I'm 50 now and still loving them, guess I'm Here to Stay. Ps it's not a phase, and you don't grow out of it!!

its funny how when i was a kid korn was the band that got me into heavy music - then i got 'too cool for korn' and bashed them. now that im 36 years old i heard one of their songs again and its so much better than the 'cool' music i have been listening to lately. good job korn.
