Lyrics:
The hurt inside is fading (aah-aah-aah)
This shit's gone way too far
All this time, I've been waiting
Oh, I cannot grieve anymore
For what's inside awaking (aah-aah-aah)
I'm not, I'm not a whore
You've taken everything and (aah-aah-aah)
Oh, I cannot give any more

The best about Korn is, there are thousands of bands, but Korn is so special. You only have to hear one tone...and you know exactly who it is. Love it !!!!

@Gevalt same, both my parents are horrible at their job lol, but my mom listened to korn with me all throughout my childhood. it's funny how she emotionally neglected me, but listening to music was one of the few things we connected with. I don't think she realized the irony in that.

This time, taking it away I've got a problem With me getting in the way Not by design So I take my face And bash it into a mirror I won't have to see the pain Bleed, bleed! This state is elevating As the hurt turns into hating Anticipating All the fucked up feelings again The hurt inside is fading This shit's gone way too far All this time I've been waiting No, I cannot grieve anymore For once inside awaking I'm done, I'm not a whore You've taken everything and Oh, I cannot give any more My mind's done with this Okay, I've got a question Can I throw it all away? Take back what's mine So I take my time Guiding the blade down the line Each cut closer to the vein Vein, vein This state is elevating As the hurt turns into hating Anticipating All the fucked up feelings again The hurt inside is fading This shit's gone way too far All this time I've been waiting No, I cannot grieve anymore For once inside awaking I'm done, I'm not a whore You've taken everything and Oh, I cannot give any more I'm here to stay Bring it down! The problem all old bands have is if they stay too close to their original roots people will say they don't evolve. But if they explore new paths people will say they don't sound the same they used to.

Which is why you have bands like weezer for instance who found a middle ground while still sounding the same as they always have but still incorporate new elements into their music. Korn is different though they sold out for a while when they hooked up with skrillex they lost track of who they were and where they came from but the last two albums they came out with they've kind of gone back to their roots

If JD managed to get through all of his shit, then I can do this one thing easily!?🤔 I heard KoRn for the first time when I was probably 13 or 14 years old! Then my mom bought me "Issues"! Korn was my introduction to Metal/Numetal/hiphop, theyre going down in history for sure! This track hits harder then it did in my teenage angst years. I think so because I can relate to them a whole lot more now that im older and actually pay attention to the poetic lyrics Jonathan Davis delivers. Im so glad they stood the test of time! goes to show, when you put your heart into your music, it connects with evreyones subconcious. we are all connected and music is the source that brings us all together.

Same, I agree. The tone on the stringed instruments is just perfect, and the production helped a lot to bring out that great tone too. I wonder what brands, models, knob settings and tuning they used on their amps, guitars, bass, strings and effect pedals.

This was like my 1st Korn song, I remember back at school when a friend of mine gave me the tape to listen to it. When i played it on my walkman as the song started there was only this "Buzz-like" sound and i couldn't make out what was going on. I thought the head of the walkman was dirty so i took out the tape and cleaned it and put back the tape, rewind and play again. It was still the same sound that heavy Buzz sound, but then in few secs kicked in that blasting drums and bass guitar slap..I was like..Damn!!!Scared my ass off for a moment..Indeed it was night.. This track has been my favorite ever since then. That dark groove! Phew!!

Korn is truly a one of a kind, once in a lifetime band. They changed rock music (and my life) forever in the 90's, and now that we are in a day and age when good rock music is dying and extremely limited, I'm so happy and thankful that they are still making kick ass, original music in 2019. Thank you Korn! And also a strong shout out to Tool and Slipknot for keeping good music alive as well!
