I never realized how amazing the bass is in Korn songs. Like, it doesnt melt into the background like a lot of bands. It gives their songs a funky feel to them. I have such a hard time sitting still even watching this.

I think I heard the term "detuned" in reference to their bass. And it's heavy in this one, I like it a lot. I used to listen to Korn about 15-20 years ago, I just discovered this song. F.. time flies.

Korn quite literally helped me keep myself alive. All their pain and massive rhythmic fuckery truely helped me sleep soundly. They're only the second band I ordered hierarchy after Led Zep. But Korn keep me off my bad self and gave me more life than I could ever hope as a boy. I'm not 28 years old.

Considering this video is now 2 decades old, the production value and overall quality of this music video in its minimalism are something to behold. It meshes a simple concept of a band jamming out and adding some nice fly CGI. Big ups Martin Weisz, director!

"Whatever you think it's about, that's what it's about." - Jonathan Davis on the meaning of Korn lyrics Somebody Someone is my favorite Korn song because it resonates so deeply with feelings I once had when I was younger. It still speaks to me now even after all this time. That's how powerful music is. To me, Korn is about exorcizing my inner demons and getting through hardships in life. It is about survival. I thought I'd be gone by now but here I am. I will listen to them till the end of my days. Love them, always have, always will.
