@@Darthification because it’s not a heavy song and the lyrics aren’t brutal like there normal stuff. And you know how it goes, people start saying Korn has changed and there sound ain’t the same anymore and blah blah blah. But that’s just the nature of the beast when it comes to music. Lyrics: You can’t bring me down Already had my life turned upside down I ride a downward spiral round and round But I keep flying, I keep fighting You won’t ever bring me down I’m good, I’m fine, this life, divine No hate, no shame, no one to blame You might disguise, your life with lies I won’t chastise Even if you think you can bring me down Already had my life turned upside down I’m riding down the spiral round and round But I keep flying, I keep fighting You won’t ever bring me down, down, down, down, down! You won’t ever bring me down, down, down, down, down! You won’t ever bring me I can’t escape from your disdain Your heart, your pain, your drama is lame Why can’t you find some peace inside I won’t chastise Even if you think you can bring me down Already had my life turned upside down I’m riding down the spiral round and round But I keep flying, I keep fighting You won’t ever bring me down, down, down, down, down! You won’t ever bring me down, down, down, down, down! You won’t ever bring me Hater, hater, hater Hater, hater, hater I’m good, I’m fine this life’s divine No hate, no shame, no one to blame Why can’t you find some peace inside? Hater hater hater hater hater You can’t bring me down Already have my life turned upside down I’m riding down the spiral round and round But I keep flying, I keep fighting You won’t ever bring me down Hater hater hater hater hater You won’t ever bring me down Hater hater hater hater hater You won’t ever bring me down Hater hater hater hater hater 'Cause I keep flying, I keep fighting You won’t ever bring me down, down, down, down, down! This video reminded me of all the bullying I went through growing up. Im 31 and Im still scarred emotionally. I cried watching this, remembering every detail of every attack on me. Korn's music got me through high school, through suicidal depression, through alot. Im far from ok now, but watching this showed me just how damaged I still am. Dont bully anyone, its not something that just goes away in time.

i'm 34 and i remember the same shit. this is why korn is my favorite band. not just because they're badass, but because i can relate so closely to johnathan davis that its like we're soul mates or something, like we're the same entity but in different bodies and different people. i'm currently working on my second novel and bullying is a prominent feature in it. if it wasn't for johnathan davis and his song daddy, i wouldn't have gotten the courage to take that first step of letting go of my childhood traumas and finally seek help.

I was bullied in school. Fuck, the words still echo in my head. 'Freak' 'jump off a bridge' 'die' I hated myself for 5 solid years, inflicting all the pain i could on myself. At 16, i came to realise that hurting myself only reinforces the hatred i had for myself. I graduated high school and let me tell you, life does get better after school. Hell, school can be extremely tough, but it's only a fraction of your life. It seems like it lasts a lifetime, but just stick in there, be strong because you can do it. You are the better person after all.

Korn is reflecting childhood fears of being hated and picked on. The video is visual pain. Jon Davis expresses all anger and pain in his music. People are too quick to judge a song for how it sounds. I'm 29 now with a family of my own and I'm the face of someone who thought I couldn't make it, who thought I would never be loved never be happy! I used to think my life was a joke yet I woke every damn day dreading it but fighting, right ng for what's right! For my rights and others rights to be alive! So many ppl lost their lives do to so much hate and pain! And it's a shame that are parents and our teachers let this shit continue on!!!!!! Behind closed doors no one knows what the fuck uve been through what u go through and to have the fucking right to make it worse by having dumbass bullies take over you, kick you while your down and make your life a living hell everyday in every way. What do u expect to happened? Death is the only way to kill the pain! But its not you can make it. Not every one can I know I've seen it I've been it. You have a right so ppl who are being bullied hurt abused fight fight back with everything you've got don't let ppl who aren't Happy themselves ruiend you and your right to be on this earth! Korn has always been my go to get me out of the world. Put my headphones on crank up Korn and life and all the issues go away. I was bullied and abused verbally and physically by my family on my mom's side, she did the most to me though. Everyday, every morning and night. It was never ending with her. I vaguely remember being young. I'm 21 now and I think I was 4 when this happened but I couldn't tie my shoes so she threw me across the living room. For as long as I could remember this went on until she moved to Florida, when I was 16,to sober up. But she failed at that. Long story short at age 17 or 18 I told her I never want to speak to her again. I was finished. Between the abuse at home I was getting bullied at school. I had no where to go but my head phones with korn blasting. Thank you korn

The fact that people are getting bullied for admitting that bands/songs like this saved their lives, says a lot of humanity. I commend everyone who has ever admitted being troubled with thoughts of suicide. It takes a lot to admit something like that. People don't understand how much words can hurt an individual or group. Just because someone has less money and less of EVERYTHING that another individual has, does not give anyone the right to physically, emotionally, mentally or psychologically abuse that person. I myself was 'saved' from committing suicide by God and, you guessed it, this band named KoRn. Yes, they are not a Holy band, but God used them to help me re-think on ending my life because of bullies, and the abuse from my little sister's father. So, please, everyone join together and make someone's crappy day happy. Isn't saving someone's life better than knowing you were part of the cause that someone ended theirs?

@BeastLordofMetal10 жыл бұрын
Oh boy would you just look at all this crap in the comments section. Yes, sometimes bullying or being hated on can help you grow stronger, but you really need to look at everyone's individual experiences. Not all cases of bullying and abuse can be put into the same category. Bullying is not just all name calling and wet willies. What if you're being smacked around by someone much bigger than you?What if you're being smacked around by several people at once? Not everyone can break out Matrix style shit to defend against that sort of force. And I've seen cigarettes put out on people's skin, ribs broken, among other things, and I've seen it lead to suicide, depression and even bloody revenge. People who say that bullying is good because it toughens you up are idiots. There are other ways to toughen people up such as rough sports, weight training, joining the army/boot camp/cadets etc. These things require routine and commitment, and the people involved may push you about, but they will also support you. Toughening up and character development takes a lot more in most cases than just smacking the shit out someone. It's almost as stupid as saying parents hitting their children is good. Seriously get a fucking education.

BELIAL NUFC indeed. Bullying doesn't "toughen" people up, it is done to expose and exploit people's vulnerabilities. It is only for the benefit of the bully, it is not intended for the bullied to get anything out of it. If they happen to do so, that's fine and dandy, but they need your support whether you are their parent, peer, or just an outsider that happens to encounter it.
@headfullofghosts961710 жыл бұрын
BELIAL NUFC You are right, but you have those who manage it well. I do not mean those who explodes in anger and goes Kratos on the bullying clean. But those who manage to stay calm and not lose hope. Those who manage it gets tougher. Believe me, talking about experience. But I understand you well.

I'm from Greece and I dedicate this song to the memory of Vasilis Giakoumakis who after continuously bullying in a greek university by his classmates his life became a living hell.He couldn't take it anymore and put an end to his own life....I just wanna say that bullying is a crime and we should fight it cause tomorrow could be our children in this position.

Everyone should be bullied in their life. And everyone should learn to rise above it. I was bullied through most of my school life, it allowed me to build character and empathy, it taught me that trust is earned - not given. I wouldn't be who I am now if I wasn't bullied. I'm glad I was, it's made me a stronger person. So yeah - to any kids out there gettin' beat on, or whoever gets the piss taken out of them constantly - use those bitches that're responsible to thicken your skin, and think that they should be jealous that they're not the ones on the receiving end. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger - and not a lot will make you a stronger person than being bullied - if you handle it right. The adult world doesn't give a shit about tearing you a new one. By being bullied and not giving a fuck you're more prepared for the real world than the bullies are.
@M4TTYN10 жыл бұрын
Oh... Vehementi ... sigh.. not true.. so many flawed points you making. ok so it "makes you stronger" so called but some case's you know the victim takes the "simple" route and *get gun from dads locker* and you know... and then the victim is turned to a whole other thing also bullies don't listen to the thing society sadly *reason* like all these stop bullying acts and movements would not be here if the bullies listened and in took the voice of reason of course they don't process reason and go to the poor poor thing as violence and fighting the victim and so on...
@sanguisdominus10 жыл бұрын
iLLAYT "not a lot will make you a stronger person than being bullied - if you handle it right." IF YOU HANDLE IT RIGHT. Once you leave school, the bullies that fucked you over so much will become a distant memory. Now you're faced with an entire adult life that will fuck you over, again and again, a life that'll quite happily tear your throat open and piss down your oesophagus if it makes a profit. Being bullied will prepare you for this much better than being the bully ever could. Tell me I'm wrong.

I know what are saying I was bullied in my english academy for 3 days when I was 14. And they wanted to bother me more. So I realized I must train my mind by myself. Next day nobody couldn't harm me. But if someone bullied, that guy will have scar forever
@failedxdesign10 жыл бұрын
Not everyone should. Because not everyone is not going to take the same road as you, everyone has a different opinion and feelings and don't see everything like you. Others may agree with you and take the same road as you. While others are taking a different a road, and feel suicidal or self harming or even both. I do see your point, but again, not everyone is going to agree with that. Many people have committed suicide because of a bully/hater. And it may make you who you are, but not everyone is going to be like that.

good song. There is diffrent levels of depression, and people deal with depression diffrently. but nothing is ever worth takeing your own life. try to find joy in the small things in life. see we all get depressed from time to time, tho if you want to take your life get help right away, talk to some one.

Korn's music helped me when I was depressed and I was thinking about suicide. Sometimes I hate my life and I feel really weak, but hey - nobody said that life is easy, huh? You need to be strong in every second of your life and trust yourself because you can become your own hater.

This video, I feel was a great representation on my insanity. Due to the amount of times I was bullied starting in pre-school, I've lost myself completely. I've become three different people due to bullying, self hate and being forced to do things sexually for someone who I trusted.So I feel like, for every time I broke down, every time I was on the verge of suicide, this video show's the insanity I went through. However, in the end, after those long years of verbal abuse, sexual abuse as well, and being used, abandoned and ratted out for things I done to myself (though that part was a good thing) I made it. I'm in my third year of high school now, with a great group of friends and a super nice boyfriend that nearly went through the same things as me. In the end, I, too, would like to thank my bullies. Though I have scars from self infliction, I feel like they tell stories. From every time my disorders caught up to me, words caught up with me, those are the things that make me wiser today. I may seem young but I was once told that I sound like I'm 40, due to how "wise" I am. though I personally don't believe it....and I'll shut up now. Sorry I kind just wrote whatever was actually going on in my mind.
@winter30649 жыл бұрын
bringmoresorrows x It's good you're getting over it/got over it. Scars can be good, they tell stories as you said and show that you are strong. Terrible that all of that had happened, but you pulled through so they can help a bit.
@tendeuse9 жыл бұрын
+bringmoresorrows x I went trough similar pattern went from preschool all the way trough to graduation being bullied. Going trough thing like this makes you grow up way too fast. Now that I'm past trough it I feel like my teen's where a simple lost. I did learn thing from it tough which a lots of people may not understand, it built me, it made me the way I am now. Bullies made me FEARLESS, FEELING-LESS(this is causing rouble in my marriage), SELF-CONSCIOUS, CARELESS and most important REGRET-LESS. I know what i want in life, I know what I can in life and again the most important I'm working for it. NEVER regret your past but always work for your future this is what makes you strong. If I can give any advice to anyone it would be: NEVER let anyone take you down, ALWAYS look for a way to take advantage of a situation.(This may be the hardest task you will ever have to do but it will make you succeed in life.)
@JessieStyles19 жыл бұрын

Sorry to break it to you, but God does not exist and there is proof of this. If God created everything who created God, and who created his creator, and so on? No one, because he doesn't exist. It is a myth. A bubble you are wrapped in with the rest of society. Open your eyes. There is no saviour or ball of light. Only dumbfounded hallucinations and petty thoughts warped into some magical deity you wish to believe dictates your life. How shameful.
