Setting the lyrics to the side, the video itself is a post mortem photographer like people have been saying. It was an old belief that cameras could capture the soul back then, and so my interpretation of this is that the camera is capturing her soul, and that's why at the end, when he takes the picture of himself he spirals out of control towards the camera and then is just gone. I love this song, the video, the music, the minor chords in the background just make this incredibly dark and creepy, but in the best way. This is real music and art.

+Aidan sdrakcab I hate rude ass people. you say I'm the white knight? I'll accept that. because I'll never just sit back and watch some fool disrespecting a girl like that. I mean my god...it is pathetic! just sit here and blast your shit comments to a girl that didnt do anything wrong? it's terrible...just fucking bullies. and you say I need to lighten up... well I'm chill as fuck until I see bullshit situations like this...a bunch of trolls here. but you can try to act like I'm the bad guy all you want because I spoke up and defended someone. I could teach you "little boys" a lot of things 😂😂😂 and you saying I make a girl's pussy dry lol but I tell ya dude I could get a lot more pussy by being kind, funny, and a gentleman to a women, and treating her with respect than you bastards would ever get by talking to a girl like she's trash. that's a fact...And this has nothing to do with getting women. This is simply about respecting other people dude!! LMAO it's honestly hilarious tho... hilarious how pathetic that ppl are, and hilarious that I get blasted for trying to do what's right lol but I don't care...I know I was doing the right thing so I could fucking care less what anyone has to say about me. lol

This is one of those music videos where EVERYTHING works great. This song is one of Korn's best, and that's saying A LOT. The video directing, editing, effects, everything is a perfect ten. I don't know who directed this but he/she is awesome. The actors are amazing too. The guy looks really scared and confused. That's great acting. Korn is one hell of a band, that's for sure.

I have to meet the person who wrote the script for this video. :') I'm seriously in love with it! I would die so happy being able to shake hands with said person. Typically when a band makes a music video I'm always disappointed. Most of the time its because my own creative mind imagined it differently upon hearing the song for the first time. My imagination is quite vivid, and the things I see when listening to a song typically seem impossible. This one is really beautiful everything is very aesthetically pleasing for me. Its hypnotizing, and I really really really want more.

I've only heard one Korn track in my life. That was a long time ago. A friend played it. I wasn't into metal or any kind of rock music back then. Then I found this and at first I thought well this will probably be pretty similar to megadeth... Then 0:10 happened... Holy shit! Didn't expect that! Fucking brutal yet without overdoing it. I also like his voice when he's not growling. If Korn have more tracks like this, they have just earned a new listener!
@michaelboyd3958 жыл бұрын
KoRn is a great band, although yeah, I wouldn't really compare them to Megadeth. (No offense to Megadeth fans, it's just that KoRn is more alt-metal than thrash)

My theory of what happened in this video: Jonathan Davis confirmed that this song is about how things in his life have gone bad and he feels like he's gone insane, and there's nothing he can do about it and feels helpless, and can't relate to "sane" people anymore. I believe that the post mortem photographer lost his mind after years of being exposed to the chemicals involved in creating the flash. At this point, it's gotten so bad he's hallucinating the corpse he's photographing is moving and alive in a type of "spirit world". This is a metaphor for Jonathan being in his own "Insane" world, aside from everyone else. The other two guys can't see what the photographer is seeing because they're still sane, and they can't relate to the photographer, and he can't relate to them. After they take the corpse out of the room and he takes a picture of himself and somehow enters the "spirit realm", in reality he was probably having some sort of fit or seizure on the floor. At this point the two guys who took the corpse out heard him in there and rushed back in to help him, and when we see the room normally, they had taken the photographer out to seek help. This could be a metaphor for how Jonathan feels like it's too late for him to get help, since he's had such a horrible childhood/adolescence, and carried into adulthood to some degree, and people never acknowledged his issues, or tried to help him until it was basically too late, and the psychological damage was already done. Just my personal thoughts on the song/video.
