Issues. The first Korn album I bought.

4 first korn albums are masterpieces. Im glad i was a teenager during the 90s. Saw then for the 1st time on the life is peachy tour with limp bizkit opening. Nobody heard about lb at the time, fred was in the crowd during korn show

Long read version: I’m so glad these guys have cleaned up and have better quality of lives. Issues and other albums from this era sort of represents a time in their lives artistically that was like “were on top but we are feeling like empty souls”. I really hope they make rock n roll hall of fame this year. Their music means so much to me artistically. Never afraid to combine timbres and genres to stay relevant. Fusion behavior in music is what’s modern, always has been since the mid 90s. Short read version: I love it love it love it!

Issues is one of my favorite Korn records! I love every song on that album. Too bad they pretty much only play Falling nowadays :/ If they bust out Hey Daddy just once more live, I'll die happy.

First of all THANK YOU for posting this stuff often! Also issues is my favorite Korn album and in my opinion a rock and roll masterpiece that can hang on the same wall as albums like Master of Puppets and Houses of the Holy.. it surprises me that the guys themselves so seem to like the album as much as others but man in my opinion, one of the best rock albums of all time. Very polished and sharpened song writing and theatrics..

David sarcastically saying Issues is a “more polished product” ahaha, he said he hated that he was forced to play basic “dumbed down” beats to a click track on this album... you can kinda hear it too how that “natural groove” is missing that was present on the first 3 albums. The beats on Issues don’t reflect his skills as well as the first 3 albums

Just listen the whole album again. Back me to my teenage cold winters:)

Killer man. Issues is my favorite. I never knew J played drums. He's got chops. One of the reasons I love that album is the break beats dispersed throughout. Sick. 20 years later here am I rediscovering Korn, hearing songs again from my youth, juxtaposed with the bands growth and my own journey. Maybe there's hope for me too. I pray for it, sincerely. You guys rock and it's cool to see you chasing your dreams as professional musicians now, not just rock stars. It's sustainable and it's how musicians should've probably always been portrayed, as professionals perfecting a craft with connotations like a professional athlete more than a playboy or a junkie. The human element you're adding is going to change everything. Maybe it felt like a compromise at the time or maybe it just feels like part of your personal journey now, but it's going to change everything. You see it in the comments. I feel it. All the drug glorification of the seventies thru nineties, that was a bad thing. I fell for it as a young musician and here I am at 34 not liking typing the word "former" before "musician." As somebody struggling with the aftermath of addiction, you guys give me hope. Thank you for sharing your lives with us and for showing videos of you guys in the studio. I pawned my studio years ago, but am clean now from hard drugs, and there's just a feeling I get after seeing the shared humanity that makes me realize I have unfinished business to do. Not for a sale, not for like, not for a name, not for a dollar, not for pride, but for me. I need to record again; seeing Jonathan fooling on the drums (on a track I like bc of the drums, after never having even known it was him) it makes an old dream feel viable again.

Issues is definitely a more refined and straight-to-business album than follow the leader. No bullshit tracks like all in the family, cameltosis and children of the korn. Which are Tracks that I always skip on leader. Which only puts leader at 9 good tracks. Pound for pound, it's almost a better album, I've always liked it more.
