I'll never forget 1st time I heard Korn as a 14 year old in 1994. My best friend spent the summer in southern Cali, and when he came home he had a cassette tape and I was like Korn with a K???? Never the less, almost 30 years later I still love this band like I did as a young man!!!! 🤘🤘

The first Korn song I ever heard was Shoots and Ladders. I thought it was lame, and lacking originality. It wasn’t until I heard Here To Stay, that I went all in on Korn fanaticism. Only now, in the bigger context, do I see how Shoots and Ladders fits Korn like a glove. 😀

I was 16 years old when I first got "Life is Peachy" in my hands. I found them because of Spawn Soundtrack, as I found that very same year Marilyn Manson and NIN. For the first time in my life I felt somebody special, untouchable and from a different species. They could break my head at school everyday, but it didn't matter KoRn and Good Good were there to remind me that my anger was bigger than anything else. Today I'm 40, and I will always remember what KoRn did for me.

I remember when a few last linkin park albums were released most of the true fans were disappointed and angry. But then we had lost Chester and the same people changed their opinions so fast, suddenly all songs were good and fresh and one of the kind… I kinda see this dynamic here too. Musicians can’t make the same thing all the time, if you like previous album then just listen to it. It takes time to understand new sound, be grateful that these people are still making art.

One of the highlights of the record, even though the verses are almost a reprise of " Start The Healing". I love part C as well, different key, different mood, I would have explored this some bars longer, this would be a great moment for some extended part C stuff, or at least going back to the main riff, its going very fast and radioedit-like back to the chorus. Is it too late to ask for a 4 - 5 minutes long maxi version of this song? If you would have made a 4 minute (+) track out of it and mayyybe did a little variation in the verse melody or it´s intonation, it would be clearly my favorite song on the record. And by the way, I´d love to see Devin Townsend work together with you guys as a producer. That would be bonkers. He is able to do the clear and modern sounding production, you are obviously looking for but also has sense for psychedelic and crazy sound textures and stuff. And he went through traumatic stuff as well and is a sensitive guy on a healing path like you guys and I think that would be a good inspirational match for all of you. And a fan dream of your common fanbase.
