Honestly, for some reason I think that was Fieldy's goodbye to all of us KoRn fans! I just don't think his heart is into it anymore, but I hope he will eventually return to the band.
@LeadMe2TheBliss
@LeadMe2TheBliss 7 ай бұрын
@@MoHawkboyzzz It is like a re-worked version of that. It's similar but definitely not the same. I think that will be Fieldy's last bass line we hear on a KoRn album for a while. He probably did something to piss off Jonathan and J.D said f**k that guy haha. I know J.D had a problem with David too, but David did come off a bit douchey. IDK the guy, but from the many interviews and backstage clips I have watched he does come off as a bit of a d!ck. I love him as a drummer though he was incredibly talented.

@@LeadMe2TheBliss the producer of both Serenity of Suffering and The Nothing has been a Korn fan for years, so my theory is that he "rescued" their old sound and modernized it. A Different World is Beat It Upright; This Loss is like Justin; even some of Jon's vocal melodies have some recycled elements from their past productions. I'm not complaining. I think that guy harnessed the real Korn sound and brought them back to their destined path.

Korn is one of those bands that never gets old. They manage to evolve while sticking to their roots. Most of us have been fans since the beginning or at least in 98 when follow the leader came out like me. They have been there for me through good and bad. It's like they truly understand the hardships of my life and make songs to ease the pain. Nobody else, nothing else does that for me but KoRn. Listen, I go to therapy twice a week but it doesn't resonate or stick with me like listening to KoRn does. I wish I could thank them personally for saving my life. For that, they will always be my favorite band no matter who comes along no matter what. I've seen them every time they've Come to my city since 98. I preorder all the albums, buy the merch on the official website, but it doesn't seem like a big enough thank you. Next is my follow the leader entire back piece tattoo. I was listening to spice Girls and strictly rap n r&b up until I discovered these guys. They showed me a whole world I had no idea existed. I listen to a lot of stuff mainly metal and 77 punk and I have Korn to thank for showing me who I was meant to be! Much love fellow freaks and KoRn Kids!

Trina, I have seen stories like you wrote here play out. There is something about them, electrified magnet of unfortunate tragedies that draws a lot of people in. These guys are really down to earth. I had a brush in with Brian when he had bad representation in Arizona. Even with an idiot lawyer got in in between Brian and I's business, Brian was willing to help with my project. We briefly communicated about raising money for a charitable act and save lives, then I went thru with it and I don't know if Brian even knows the end result. With his signatured book, I was able to raise almost enough cash outright to pay for a water well, so I chipped in the rest and boom, A tribe in Africa now has clean water for their families and generations to come. Nobody would publish a feel good story like this either so naturally it never saw any attention but then again, we weren't asking for it either... More to it than just that. Nice bit of info, and yes, their songs always seem like they are written for me, and in your shoes, you probably felt your favorite songs were written directly to you and your problems. Its amazing how that works but it does and there tens of thousands out there of people like you and I that feels this in some weird way they saved their life. I do, and it appears that you do as well. Tina Harris, I am Jerry Morris, a full fledged nobody, thats a super fan of their work. You have a friend here. Doesn't matter what gender or age, I'm here for you if you ever need a friend outside your immediate loop to talk out your problems if you have them still. I know I have issues that arise at times and that muddy the waters, sometimes venting is a good option. Now and again, I reach out to people and make new friends, sometimes learn a ton from them, help them in anyway I can and I get a lot good vibes from helping others. Payback I guess but never the less, I hope you respond and say hello.... Your Friend, Jerry

I'm 51 and been a fan since the beginning. They're still killing it after all these years!!!!!! Best concert I've ever been to was KORN 2004 Pensacola Civic Center!!!! I don't think anything will touch it! Get in my truck still jacked from the show, turn on the radio..... That was the same night Dime was killed.

Another old rocker here, I remember coming home and hearing the news that Dime had been killed on stage. I could not believe it was true. I'd seen Pantera quite a few times here in the UK and the thought of him being gone and never being able to see them again was almost impossible to imagine.

I fell in love with Korn back in high school because of a girl named synthia who saw me listening to a pop song in my cd player. It was there issues CD that had just dropped. They were the first Rock group I had ever listened to followed by Kittie because of her making me listen to her cds of rock collection. To that girl back at ft Meade high School in Maryland, thank you for forever turning me into a Korn fan.

I've been listening to metal for most of my life, and I've always defined a band's skill by their ability to write good breaks into their songs and albums. The break at about 2:30 is beautiful and tasteful. I think Requiem is Korn's most mature, skillful, and refined work yet.
