Lyrics Do you really wanna come with me? It's hard to see from the eyes of a stranger Are you ready for the feeling to leave So that you can breathe and not live with the danger? But there is always something fighting its way back in But there is always something pushing me to give in Do you really wanna make believe And try to achieve a little break from the anger? I should've been good I should've been down I couldn't let go What could I do? I can take it all away, the feelings Break apart the pain and start the healing I should've withstood I shouldn't bow down I couldn't get through What could I do? I can take it all away, the feelings Break apart the pain and start the healing Do you really wanna prowl with me? This travesty cuts sharp like a razor Are you ready for your scars to bleed? You will succeed pulling out the invaders But there is always something fighting its way back in But there is always something pushing me to give in Do you really wanna make believe And try to achieve a little break from the anger? I should've been good I should've been down I couldn't let go What could I do? I can take it all away, the feelings Break apart the pain and start the healing I should've withstood I shouldn't bow down I couldn't get through What could I do? I can take it all away, the feelings Break apart the pain and start the healing Everything I'm feeling burst into flames Looking at a soul that's broken and strain Every night the wish is always the same Keep on hoping that I don't go insane The more you fall for it The more it starts to stick The more you fall for it The more it starts to stick The more you fall for it The more it starts to stick The more you fall for it It's never gonna quit I should've been good I should've been down I couldn't let go What could I do? I can take it all away, the feelings Break apart the pain and start the healing I should've withstood I shouldn't bow down I couldn't get through What could I do? I'm a 13 year old girl, and Korn has really made my life better. I feel so understood. I used to have a phase with My Chemical Romance, but when i was obsessed with them, i didn't feel happy. I was only happy when i was alone, listening to them. And every day, i would say i hated everything around me, and i would literally pray to God at night to kill me. But now that I've found korn, things have been really better. I don't hate everything (only school), and i don't wish i was dead! Yay! I still have my struggles, but I'm still standing strong. I love you, korn! You're my everything when it comes to music!❤

Right there with you I was the only kid in my school who liked linking park periphery papa roach Korn etc. Everyone seemed liked zombies. Stay focused you'll find your people. Even if you don't there is worse things v in life. I for example got into drugs fought w my good parents left college and slept in my car working full time. After 5 years I worked myself to death and had a blood clot in my brain causing my right hand to stop working. I ignored a had 3 strokes and many seizures I am 4 brain surgeries done and sober 7 months. Moved back homy parents . Lost my new car good job and rehabilitation my right hand. Korn gives me strength to stay strong drop my ego and know I'm powerless and that's okay. I hand great family a trust and best friends who visited me and still call. I am lucky . I should be in the dirt.

I saw them scoop blood clot out , Been going to therapy and getting kpins for sleeps. anxiety+ptsd, i was a skateboarder + drummer+truck driver. God taught me a lesson, humbled. i still crave suboxone got restless legs at night, the 30+seizures and medical bills(1.7mil) made me wanna jump off the ledge. Almost died a lot and i thought of my parents n friends and how i left them nothing but pain. no children, weak pillar of pain. they feeding me good i do feel like a burden but not for long. music is my drug/freedom now. Not that genres matter much, but I'd call Korn more of a rock/funk band than a metal band.
@dylancastellanos87
@dylancastellanos87 3 жыл бұрын
@@LeadMe2TheBliss In all honesty, they never really claimed to be a metal band. They were just labeled as Nu-Metal after they debuted, and the title just stuck. I admit that I tend to use the term Metal when describing Korn because it's what I thought they were when I first heard them as a kid over 20 years ago. But I shouldn't since that isn't quite that they are. It's fans and music critics who say they're Metal. It's probably why some fans didn't like it when Korn, for awhile, deviated from their heavier sounds post debut. In fact, every member has been adamant over the years about how Korn isn't a Metal band. They can't really be considered rock/funk either, considering that their music doesn't quite fall into that genre, either. They're just a band with a mashup of sounds that evolves over the years, alternating between heavy, light, groove, pop-esque, dubstep, etc.

A dear friend of mine was helping me move my stuff out after my wife and I split (and she had already moved her stuff out, so the house was pretty empty) this last December. I kinda had a breakdown towards the end of moving out. I remember we were in my bathroom and he's like "Dude, just listen to this." And sets his phone on the cleaned counter with this song starting up. Then like a true homie, busted out a weed pipe and we smoked as I let go of a past me and quickly prepared myself to be whatever I had to in order to succeed. Love you Ken Doll. I am crying but because of happiness. I was really hoping for Jonathan to emotionally wake up and heal. Was a bit tired and sad of hearing him singing about the pain all those years..... But now, I realised i would not be awaken if my parents wouldn' t die. Pain of losing someone will truly reset you... if you are lucky enough. I got you, bro! ❤

Do you really wanna come with me? What’s funny to me is that this is not who they were the first two albums. I love that Korn!!!!!! Saw 90’s shows in person. This is the “evolved” Korn. Not necessarily a bad thing, just not what it was in timeline. Make sense? All bands evolve how they do ya know. Huge lifelong Deftones fan here, and wow has their music changed/evolved. It happens.

@@erokimusprime4071 even if they wanted to do something like their first 2 records, they're 50 now, it's almost impossible to keep JD's level of energy and emotion from back then without being on like 3 drugs at once and weekly therapy lol. I was just reflecting today how cool and honestly beautiful it is that Korn is maturing and, most importantly, healing. So much of their music is about being angry and hurt, and that's fine--I adore it and it was what they needed to make. But as their music matures you can start to tell they're being able to reclaim themselves and their lives, and be more than their hurt. If all of Korn's music started to be about "I've been real fucked up but I'm getting so much better now," I'd love it all the same.
