Jonathan outdid himself with the vocals on this album. The screams are actually ridiculous. And the guitar work is the heaviest they’ve done in years.

Jonathan explained what is "the nothing" he is referring throughout the album. From what he told in an interview, the nothing is something that keeps following him and is responsible for everything wrong in his life. He refers to that entity as the nothing.

You've chose to walk a thin line Replaced the hurt without healing mine You hold disgust in your heart, you just fucked with me Idiosyncrasy In my heart lies a blackened rage Sometimes it overtakes me Why the fuck did I run away? Cat named Scamper actually, I liked Take a Look in The Mirror for the most part as well. After that, KoRn really fell off the wagon and never felt to evolve much, especially lyrically. However, with that being said, I do dig what I’ve heard musically more than lyrically and at times vocally thus far. KoRn seems the need to put pop sensibility into their choruses. I don’t care for that. “Can You Hear Me” is probably my favorite thus far.

@@SovereignKing True! Untouchables had gazillion of tracks and this is more lighter in production but it sounds so huge. Nick made them track guitars together with Head at the same time. So I think that adds to the groove quite a lot on this album and Serenity of suffering too which he produced.

A New level.. 😂😂😂... A tribute to Pantera for sure...i always thought that Pantera didn't like this music style.. .i was Wrong.. First of all cause Deftons went in tour with Pantera in 1996 . Actually from interviews from Korn... Dime and all the Pantera were quiet regulars at Korn's shows in Dallas....extremely happy that both my favourite bands had actually mutual respect .. 🤟🤟🤟🤟

' running towards The Light ... ' You Are The Light. Being the Light doesn t feel happy nor easy, it just feels real, almost raw. Being the Light actually feels very dark, lost, confused, angry. Maybe because it is a matter of alchemy, transforming collective grief into something delicate and very pure. Not a lot of Souls can do it, because it is grueling. Like a Tree of Life : taking in grief, releasing healing properties. Only the Heart matters, not the past, not the habits. The Heart and The Ones We Love. I think Good Heart = The Light. much love and so much respect.

Been torn about buying this. I love that the old korn is back, but it is soooo dark. Its great that Jonathan can use music to try and deal with his loss, but this album so makes Daddy a happy song. LOL. EDIT: I know daddy is a bad song, but this album is so far darker than that song.
