Hey, you Yes, I'm talking to you And what are you doing here? And why you look so sad, man? Brother, please come here Let’s talk and let it out Dear, you have nothing to fear Child, I'm the one that makes it, oh, so, so much better [Chorus] I feel your presence standing there up in my face I feel the darkness haunting me with its embrace I want to shed this, go to a place, a different time The plot unfolds, this meaning here I'll never find [Post-Chorus] (Never, never find, never find, never find, never Never find, never find, never find) [Verse 2] Hey, man What do we have here? You’re looking so upset You're making it quite clear That you want nothing to change 'Cause you're so willing to hurt, and Feel at home in the dark, boy Everything you feel, child, won't make it better [Chorus] I feel your presence standing there up in my face I feel the darkness haunting me with its embrace I want to shed this, go to a place, a different time The plot unfolds, this meaning here I'll never find [Bridge] You ever hear that voice in your motherfucking head? After the way my day went I really needed this. It's interesting. It's no secret that metal hasn't been as strong as it used to be, yet right when the world feels like it's spinning out of control (both personally and generally) all the musicians and vocalists I admire the most step up and give us exactly what we need to get through it. This song is a perfect example of that.

@@jasonlovesmusicreacting882 Its still relatively mainstream, what with the likes of FFDP and Sabaton and that making waves. I tend to experiment when messing around on my guitar and start to beatbox at times. I never thought anyone would pull it off nowadays. I said nowadays because My Metal and the fusion between Hip-Hop and Metal isn't the same anymore. Unless done well, it's considered corny to sound like Limp Bizkit or something. But they surprised me with this song. This whole album sounds like Issues a bit. It's sounding like their best work in years!

I like this album so far... people are so hyper-critical of music these days... stop overthinking, lose yourself in the music :)

Pain, fear, grief, hate... all these things are perpetuated by a negative energy we create within ourselves. They become like monsters and haunt our thoughts and invade our feelings. And for some, we want to listen. Because it's a place made to shelter ourselves (why you look so sad, man? brother, please come here) Love, empathy, forgiveness, the positive energy we create when trying to grow and become a better version of ourselves. Depression will always remain, but we can never truly get rid of it. Instead of pretending it isn't there, we should console it like we would try to help someone in pain. No matter what your negative thoughts are saying, don't let it take control of you. Instead, be vigorous and focused on GIVING positive energy (I feel your presence standing there up in my face)

This chorus is so incredible, sounds like it could've been an unused track for his solo alumni.
