Fun fact: "Korn" in german means "grain" and a wheat field in german is a "Kornfeld" - a field of grains. So the people that say they play in a korn field might all be confused Germans 😂

I think music like this shows how far some of the greatest bands come. From their early ages where there are a whole multitude of problematic circumstances and events, ill health and misfortune; this is influential in their music. At a time when lyrics have meaning and meaning that stems not by trying to be relevant to an audience but relevant to their own lives creates music we all enjoy and sometimes can relate too. Then, as they bring in more success, typically their lives get better and their problems slowly disappear, financial security, assets, fame, fan appreciation - it gives the band members an opportunity to see life in a different light and so, come 10 years or more down the line... of course their music isn't going to be the same because it's all a progression, not just in music but in their personal lives and you can see that in their new music. Not that it's not good, it still has meaning and melody but compared to their old stuff, it's only relevant to an audience and not to themselves. And so, say what you want but this is the evolution of Korn from start to finish (not that they have finished just yet) and naturally, the music is going to let less angry, less grungy because it has to be specific to the time period in which it's made and now you see Korn as a mature band who have families and aspirations that span far wider than success because let's face it, they've had all the success they'll ever need and want which makes this song just as good as any other, only.. it's good for different reasons and it's specific to a different relevant time period in their lives.

i love the message of this song. Guilt keeps you trapped and prevents you from setting boundaries, cutting unhealthy ties and making decisions that make room for better things in life. when you leave a bad relationship you feel guilty and obligated, but when you stay in it u continue to get fucked. I feel like Korn III is a very underrated Korn album. Especially considering the time that it was released, this album really brought back the old Korn sound when they were taking a different musical route. I can say that I enjoyed every song on this album and 7 years later I'm still jamming to it from time to time.

This album was probably the last that felt like Korn, but it's still missing some things that Korn had for their first 6 albums. I'm not a hater of their newer stuff, but I'm definitely not a fan either.

I purchased the world tour edition of Paradigm Shift after I listened to and enjoyed a few songs from the album. It's a pretty good album. Their best overall album in a while, but it has a very mainstream sound to it. It feels like it's leaning to the pop side of music. Still better than most pop/pop-rock music that you hear from these days. I miss their old sounds, but going back and listening to their older albums fixes that. I understand and respect their decision as artists to branch out and alter their style.

Jesse Lapham exactly you have to respect it because they still have their original feel no matter what. I agree the old stuff is bettee but people need to understand its really hard to be able to repeat the same exact hype and masterpieces they have in the past but they still are damn good

I actually thought Remember Who You Are was a good album. compared to See You On the other Side and Path to Totality.

Better than path of totality but not see you on the other side cause see you on the other side had a better meaner tone than the other new abums except for the last one they made plus the old ones
